Inside Convoy

Up to 4 terminals on one screen

A 1, 2 or 4 pane grid with a colour-coded project header. Drag sessions between panes, switch with the keyboard.

Agent status from hooks

Working, waiting for you, done — reported by Claude Code hooks, never guessed from output. Notifications and a Dock badge.

A worktree per task

Isolated checkout and branch for each session; shared .env and node_modules are cloned with APFS.

Tasks → pull requests

Describe a task: the agent takes it in a worktree, verifies, commits and opens the PR. Queue them and auto-review with the other agent.

Docs and specs in the repo

.specdesk/PROJECT.md and specs are read by agents and people alike. AI writes them from the code and works to them.

Files & Changes panel

A JetBrains-style source-control panel beside the terminal (⇧⌘G): stage by checkbox, unified or split diffs with per-hunk discard, commit with an AI-written message, push, pull and open the PR. Files tree, commit log with revert, and a branch switcher — following whichever worktree the agent is in.

History and reviews

Every saved Claude Code and Codex conversation for a folder, resumable in one click. Hand finished work to the other agent for a review brief.

macOS requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or newer
  • Claude Code and/or Codex CLI installed with your own login
  • Git; the gh CLI for automatic pull requests

Install on macOS

  1. Fastest: one Terminal command downloads, installs and allows the app to open.
  2. Or by hand: unzip the archive and drag Convoy.app into Applications.
  3. If macOS says it could not verify the app, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. The app is signed locally, not notarized by Apple.

Convoy collects nothing and sends nothing to our servers. Agents run with your own logins.
